How Ticheka Outdoors may earn compensation and how we protect editorial independence.
Some links on Ticheka Outdoors may be affiliate links. If you buy through one of those links, CADUNLOCK LLC may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Amazon Associates Program
Ticheka Outdoors is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Product prices and availability on Amazon are accurate as of the date and time a purchase is made and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase applies to the purchase of that product. We do not control Amazon pricing and any figure quoted in a guide is a snapshot, not a live price.
What does not change
Compensation does not guarantee coverage, a positive recommendation or a particular ranking. We aim to evaluate products and services using the same disclosed criteria whether or not an affiliate relationship exists.
How we label links
Pages containing affiliate links should include a clear disclosure near the recommendation or before the first affiliate link. Sponsored content, if accepted, is labeled separately.
Your choice
You never have to use an affiliate link. You can navigate directly to the provider and make your own purchasing decision.
Where affiliate links appear, and where they do not
Affiliate links, when we use them, appear only next to gear and services a guide already recommends on its own merits. They never appear inside campground comparisons, park alert pages or reservation-window tables, because those pages exist to send you to an official agency system where no commission is possible.
How a recommendation is decided
A product earns a place in a guide by solving the specific problem that guide is about, at a price that matches the reader’s situation. Commission rate is not part of that decision and is not visible to the person writing the guide. Where a cheaper or non-affiliate option is the better answer, that is the option we name.
What clicking a link costs you
Nothing. If a retailer pays a commission, it comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your price. We do not use links that add fees, and we do not gate any part of a guide behind a click.
Advertising
Display advertising on this site is served by third-party networks. We do not choose individual advertisers, and advertisers have no access to editorial decisions, no advance sight of articles and no ability to remove a negative finding. If an ad ever appears next to content it contradicts, that is a placement artefact of the network, not an endorsement.
